How To Delete Content Permanently From Your Kindle feat. Neil Gaiman
I remember the first time that I saw Neil Gaiman, it was just before COVID and I took a friend to see him. I remember sitting up in the balcony and listening to him, almost in amazement that I was with someone who could talk about language so eloquently. As a writer myself, I there are certain writers that I feel drawn too. Though this wasn’t full on idol worship, there was defiantly a respect there.
Looking back on it. Now it almost seems silly to say that I looked up to him. I still want to be that person who is appreciated for their writing.
However, in today’s world, I am very quickly coming to realise that no one should ever be held up on a pedestal so high that people excuse behaviour.
I had purchased books in the past, I vowed never to purchase any more again. The physical books that I did have, I donated them. That was a few weeks ago.
Then a few days ago the Vulture article came out. It was this morning that I watched YouTuber, Alizee cover it in her latest video. Then while watching I opened my Audible account and spoke to tech support — I requested that they remove all of his books from my library.
The last act, the Kindle deletion I could do myself. If you don’t know where this is then I will tell you.
